Well not quite roses, but green shoots. My carrots have now poked their heads out of the soil where as the pot that Kevin gave me, that I feel was very overwatered, hasn't shown at all, the same for his broad beans.
I was going to shoogle the soil in the garden again to loosen it up but I have been in agony today and yest. I thought it was just a bout of my IBS but its also TOTM. I think they have gone hand in hand as in the TOTM has upset the IBS as it seems to be going doolally. Everything is growing quite well.
The Gaillardia need broken up as the leaves are getting quite big in the small egg trays, same with the black poppies. The mixed poppies I'm not sure about, and its the same for my herbs as they are quite leggy, not sure if they will last.
The california peppers and orange peppers and jalepenos need to be put into seperate pots too as they have grown well, and the tomatoes need to be put into pots too. I just don't know where I am going to put everything. I suppose the ones that need a bit more humid can go into the bathroom windowsill and some can go into the bedroom. I just feel that its too early to get anything out into the actual border.
I also need to still plant up the sweetcorn, cucumber, salad, aubergines, courgettes, beetroot, and radish. Oh and all the beans/peas. I suppose I can just plant stuff and hope for the best! Maybe if I shift the birdy food along the other end from the border they won't go for the lil plants. Any ideas?
Well foody wise today has def been better. Had my bean soup/stew that I made in the slow cooker which comprises of tomatoes, carrots, butter beans, barley, balsamic vinegar, herbs, onion and pepper. Very filling and very nice, so I will be eating that for the next couple of days seeing as Jason doesnt like the beans, or soup for that matter. Dinner was chicken, potato and mixed veg, very tasty. But my tummy is agony still, ouch ouch.
Mum and Kevin are coming round on Sunday again so hoping the weather is nice. They are ultimately coming round to drop off birthday gift as its my 25th on Thursday next week. Ahh joy, quarter of a century. But I'm sure they will also bring some stuff for the garden too. Well I hope they do!

Digging and Bricks and Cream Crackered
Well its safe to say that I am totally and absolutely cream crackered. Three days of work and thankfully it has been productive. I have spent near on 2 days gutting the house and clearing out a lot of rubbish. Living room and bathroom look better for it and all that needs down now is the bathroom.
It was supposed to be nice weather today but it rained pretty constantly for hours. Mum and Kevin still came round though at 12 which was to help me with the digging in the back garden to give me some planting areas and to give the green field some borders finally. So on came the garden shoes, out came the spades and hoes and forks and down to work we got. The ground was very heavy and very very soggy.
Well we did two lots of digging and we did a really really swell job. I reckon we managed to dig about 40ft of border today, lifting turf, turning the soil and breaking it up more. The birds were loving it. Whenever we moved off, they swept in to feast on the bugs that we had turned up....nom nom nom. Kevin also planted the rhubarb plant. None for this year unfortunately as its a wee thing, but hopefully this time next year we will have some.
So yeah I'm pleased. Will need to get some stuff into there now and get it looking good.
Jobcentre tomorrow for signing on. Oh the joy. Dads coming to pick me up though so thats quite good. Also think I'm going to up the beta blockers to 2 as I don't feel any difference with one, so we will see how that goes.
Our holiday is almost almost almost paid for. Lovely company has given us a bit of extra time, hopefully the cheque will have come by then, fingers crossed.

Update time

Alright, its been a while but update time, can't remember if I said but I've been diagnosed with IBS, and the hospital said if I still felt really anxious with it then to go back and see my doc regarding it. So went back to the doctor today and hes put me on beta-blockers for a month to see if they do the trick and if they do they will put me on a repeat prescription for them. Took my first one today and all its given me so far is a woozy feeling and a headache so far. Apparently though it can take a bit of time to get used to them. Also think I'm coming down with a cold. Sore throat, sniffles, blocked up, sniff sniff.
My swimming cossie that I ordered on 19th already came which is really fast but I think its actually quite nice considering my size. It covers up everything nicely bar the wobbly cellullitely legs but oh well. £30 quid down the drain but I think its worth it.

Love the colour!!! lol.
And back to the planting/garden/pot situation. The house is looking more and more like a greenhouse at the moment but all the seeds have pretty much come up.

I just love the colour of these in the pot in the front garden. This is the second year that they have come up trumps, and I just wish I had got more. I'm sure I got the anemones in Poundland and didn't expect much of them but I love them!

This helabore was from the bargain corner at a local garden centre and this is the first year its flowered in 3 years so I am pleasantly surprised at it.

These are mostly lillies in these pots. These were given to me as a birthday present two years ago from my mum and they are gorgeous. One is a bright orange colour, and the other is a darker red magenta colour. I've added marigolds to the bottom of them so I will be glad when they come up. There is only one other pot in the from which is longer, and I've just taken out all the old stuff to put in hollyhocks and poppies into it, so we shall see if they come up.
Inside there is allsorts!!! I'll just get all these pics together or it will take forever.

All my lovely plants and seedlings, we have a thanksgiving cactus, wandering jew, flaming katy, various tomatos, spring onions, herbs, a mysterious pot, peppers, jalepenos, carrots, beans, etc, so I am hoping they all do well!
The main thing is getting somewhere in the garden to put them. Just to explain, the garden is huge but a 1/3 of it is taken up by a huge fir tree that we wouldn't get rid of, and the rest is all grass (well not even grass its mostly moss, which we don't mind, its like a springy meadow) but no borders, nothing. SOOOOOOO, I have started digging but I'm hoping my mum will come round on Sunday if weather is good and help dig a border in there!!!!
I'll keep ya posted!

Any ideas about these plants??

Ahh the hilarities!
Ahh it always makes me chuckle watching Masterchef, the semi finals, the dessert is huge. They have made the biggest vicky sponge in the world. Everything else is dwarfed by it.
Well I have endured 4 days of pain as its TOTM, I've hardly left my bed the last few days due to the pain and not really being able to sleep well due to being uncomfortable. We both got chippie chips which were exactly what I needed. I'm still under on my calories today which is good, even though all the things I've eaten have been crap.
At the mo, on Monday I was 18st 8lb and I have joined the spring challenge that Firess is running for us. Not sure what team I'm in but its running for 6 weeks which will take us up to mid May. Ive put down to 8lbs to lose which is very daunting, but we shall see what happens.
Also, J and I have booked our holiday and we are off to Skegness Butlins. J has been before to there when he was younger and I have never in my life been to Skeggy. I think it is definitely something that we need....just to get away and relax away from home. J will like it due to Fantasy Island being there for his roller coaster, release his inner child for a bit. Hopefully cheer him up a bit.
Hes still feeling very down and not feeling any better due to his psychiatrist saying he is actually worse, the ESA not being sorted due to not getting help with mortgage, elec and prescriptions, and I do worry for him so so much.
Neither of us are working still and I honestly can't see me working by the time we go away on holiday. Oh well.
Back to the weight loss and holiday. Right lets weigh this up... 11 weeks till I go away. How much can I realistically lose for then. hmmm Will have to work that out and see how much. I also will need to get a new swimming cossie for going away and somehow save some money for holiday. Dunno how that is going to happen seeing we don't have any money as it is. Sigh, oh well.

So sleepy!
I don't know why I have been so sleepy today as I got to sleep at a fairly reasonable hour. I ended up getting up at 11.30am when the postie came. Scottish power have sent a statment from July 09 till now and I have no idea where they are getting their units from. Somehow, according to them, we are using more units during the day than at night which is absolute twaddle. It should be other way around as thats when the storage heaters go on!!! So J has written yet another letter to them and to ofcom, or whoever it is, as this has happened every single statement for the last 3 years... And breathe!!
Well my windowsill plants are still growing nicely. No idea what either of them are so if anyone can shed some light that will be great.

Thats the first one, it has the think rubbery leaves and those cute pink/red flowers. I got the cutting a while ago and its flourish ever since.

This is the second cutting that I got from my mum about 4 months ago and again its just gone maniac on me and grown real well on the windowsill. It has purple furry underleaves, dark green topleaves, and the cute lil pink n white flowers. Again any idea what it is??
My mum was supposed to come round today but didn't. They were supposed to be starting a job down in Somerset but the offer has been retracted due to the references or something so I think thats a bit cruel seeing as they are hard workers and have just had bad time with the last two jobs, one spying on them and the others using them and going through a tribunal....so they aren't going now, so Mum and K didn't turn up.
I still made my cupcakes though. First time I have made them since primary school so I got a recipe offline and this is what came of them:

Oh dear, J was laughing is head off. It weighed a tonne and was like a batter. So J cast his eye over the recipe and said "that ain't right, it includes milk", so I stopped and thought about it, and hes right, milk is wrong. That sounds more like a batter for pancakes. So TAKE TWO!!! We took another recipe, and with J by my side we cooked again....

Ahh, thats better, fluffy fluffy cupcakes!! J and I demolished this one straight after cutting it....nice warm crisp on outside and fluffy inside, delish!!

And here is the troop before it got a green lemon icing, very very very moreish!!
So mother is still coming round but its now tomorrow at 3pm, so we will be having tea and cake then.
So thats cupcakes and rice pudding now tackled.... I am and will be a domestic godess eventually. Im one in training. lol

Din Din Time and a very sore head!
Well J didn't want any dinner tonight. He didn't sleep until 8am this morning then woke at 11am so has been feeling off all day today. Me too to be honest. I've felt cold and under the weather with a dull pang in my head. Thankfully the lovely forehead stick has helped take the edge off. So for dinner I had a very quickly made Mac n cheese type meal.

Very tasty though bar the grating of the low cal cheese that was very crumbly it was actually very tasty. Prob cost me about 80p to do. That was washed down with a clearance desert of cut up hot cross buns with some chocolate sauce desert over them after they had been heated up. Yum Yum.
But I still can't get a heat in me at all today. I'm currently sitting underneath my duvet in the living room with the laptop on me providing that bit of extra heat.
Mother is coming round tomorrow. Her and Kevin (her hubby) have managed to get another job, yet another camp site, although this one sounds like less of a hassle at the moment which is good. Based down in Brean, Somerset which is miles and miles away now. Dunno when I'll be able to see them which sucks a bit. Shes been round quite a bit recently and its been lovely seeing her more and her coming into our house. Oh well, it cannot be helped.
So will need to get up and tidy up a bit for them coming. Removed the cushions from the floor as will be sleeping on them tonight as its warmer in the living room than upstairs still. Erm what else, dishwasher on, feed bunny, spray, hoover, dust. That should do it.

Borscht glorious Borscht!

Well this is what I made today!!!!
Quite tasty really.....Nom nom nom.
Currently nibbling on homemade houmous and carrots which again are quite tasty.
Thought my choccies would have arrived today but alas nothing as of yet.
Lazy day ahead though, mum is coming round tomorrow so will have to tidy up for then. Dinner tonight I think I'll make a shepherds "like" pie as I make it with pork mince, so its what we call Sty Pie lol.
Quite cold today so huddled under the duvet and contemplating seed planting as random mystery plant on front window is growing well and random mystery plant on back window is growing well too....maybe its a sign of things to come.

Turbulent days

Sorry I haven't updated this recently, bad me!!! Well last week I put on a bit of weight but that is what I expected anyway what with having the flu. So I went back to 19st, but this week I have lost 2lbs again taking me to 18st 12lb.....woohoo! If I carry on like this it will take me 41 weeks to get to my goal.
So these last few weeks, our beloved hamster died, well we had to take her to the vet to get put down as she was too poorly. Rabbit is still kicking away nicely. I've had two treat days recently. My dad took me out to Brewers Fayre and I had Lasagne for 10.5points and a ultimate sharing sundae so that day was completely written off. And yesterday, Jason and I went to Pizza Hut before going to the cinema to see Final Destination 3D. Had bruschetta, an italian with chicken, peppers, sweetcorn, tuna and goats cheese and a choc fudge cake for dessert. So thats the bad me this week. Good the rest of it im sure!!
Very cold today. Definitely turning into autumn with the weather being how it is and the darker mornings and nights. I hate it. If I could emmigrate for 6 months of the year I would Lol!

Sunday, the day of rest
Starting to feel a lot better, the cough is getting better I think so I am more than happy to get back to work. Then my eczema will need to clear. I have this red circle basically of it right the way round my forehead, following the hair line and right across my eyebrows. so sore!!!
Well as I didn't get out of my pit till 1pm I had my left over red lentil dhal for lunch with a pepper (yes a yellow pepper, just eat it like an apple) and a nectarine. Then just felt a bit peckish there so had the last of the hot dog rolls with tomato puree and mustard. Hot dog with out the hotdog......I'm so weird!
Dinner, hmmmmm, Well the OH is probably not going to eat anything so I might just make tuna and sweetcorn pasta or something of the likes. I'll figure that out when 6pm comes!

Well that is me starting to feel better. My cough is starting to break now so I should be all well and better for work on Monday! Yay!!! To be honest I'm glad about going back. I hate being off work, and although I know it has been for my own good, I do need to get back. I have been confind to my bedroom pretty much now for 5 days straight and I need to get out!!!
As for my WI this week you can see that I lost 5lbs taking me to 18st 12lb. I think most of the weight loss this week is due to the flu so I will not be surprised if next Friday is showing a gain. But oh well, i'll just need to get the flu more often. lmao! I made a cheap and cheerful dinner tonight in the slow cooker, red lentil dhal. Was really tasty but made way too much, hoping the other bit keeps till tomorrow in the fridge, we shall see.
Nothing planned for tomorrow, more rest and relaxation before work. Do the dreaded washing of clothes and play about on here more. Been watching and listening to phantom of the opera most of the day and its been making me really want to see it again. It been a long time since I last saw it and even longer since I worked on it, AND I MISS IT!!!!!!!

On the road again
Can't wait to be back on the road again! Oh well I started back on my latest battle last week and thought it was time to update this again. So whats new with me.....erm.....Im engaged. Jason proposed to me on my birthday in May which was sweet and the ring is lovely. A white gold and diamond, not too OTT and I love it. No date set yet as we cannot afford it. I really need to get prices for everything and see when we could afford it all and set a date around that. Yes, I'm all loved up again!
I was laid off from my previous job in February and Ive been temping ever since in HBOS. Its only supposed to be till the end of this month but I'm hoping it will go on longer. Fingers crossed.
Jason was laid off from his job due to his colitis by the looks of it so we are trying to get more advice from citizens advice and his disability advisor as we think we have them on legal grounds. He is going tomorrow for more advice so we shall see what happens with that. Also got a new car. The 300zx died totally on us. It was in the garage for 4 weeks and they couldn't find the problem so we went and had a look at a car 2 weeks ago and got it. A lovely Mk2, Toyota MR2 in red. Very very nice, turbo and chipped, very very speedy but lovely. I can stretch my extra long legs in this one.....Yipee!!!
And the latest news is that I'm off work just now with Flu. Dunno what flu, but flu. Doctor wouldn't see me incase it is piggy flu so he just told me to stay off work the rest of the week and rest. We have had confirmed cases at work so it is possible to have it. But it has been agony. My throat has been on fire for days now and my nose and head just feel hellish. Lots of cold drinks and ice poles and ice cream. Not very WW but I'm still in my points for the day so I don't care. I just want to be numb!!!!

Such a bollocks week
Well not only did I pig out all week and put on 3lbs at weight watechers when I thought that was bad enough, at the end of work yesterday I was told I was losing my job as the company was hemmoraging money left right and centre and that they couldn't afford me anymore. The directors weren't taking a salary any more and there would be more losses. I was kinda expecting it but it still came as a blow. I was fine until my boss Ann started to cry as she didn't want it to come to this and she gave me a hug, and that set me off into floods of tears, and this process kept going everytime someone hugged me when I was going. So I'm not a statistic of the credit crunch, another unemployed person due to money losses. GREAT!!! So having to find a job yet again, going back to job centre, phoning them on monday, and more worries with my debts as I'll have to phone them and tell them I have lost my job and cannot pay them. Oh the joys of joys!!!

Another week almost gone!

I really need to get on here more to update this. It has been a bit of a rollercoaster....but I JOINED meetings. I had my first one two weeks ago and I loved it, There are a lot of people each with various goals and it was just great having a sense of being. Then went along last week and I lost 3lb!!!! So that was my first 7lbs but obviously I'll need to keep losing to get my first silver seven.....I WANT MY STICKER lol.
Its been a hard week this week though. I seem to be sticking fine but the last few nights I have just wanted to eat eat eat. Had three not guilty lollies on Sunday......not guilty, my bum!!!! too many points still not to be guilty. And then had dinner of pad thai noodles green curry sauce etc, and it just all added up. I'm missing that one point that I am now down, now that I am down to 27.
Jason seems to be getting better, his wound is still weeping a lot but he doesn't have an infection, thank goodness. We had a bit of a tiff. I was feeling really emotional as he was getting quite distant. So i just burst out crying when I was in the bath the other night. I started texting him saying i was feeling unloved as he doesn't tell me he loves me, or hug me, but we've sorted things out more now. I think its mostly just cause hes ill just now, but no excuse! lol.

And here we go again
My Weight Chart:

Oh well its not been a good week today. I've put on 3lbs this week. Its all my OH fault. He got taken in for an emergency operation on Tuesday to remove a pilonidal cyst from his back. He got it removed but they leave the wound open to heal from the inside out. So hes in a bit of pain but not as much as when he had the cyst. So it will be a good couple of months still its healed. Hes set up home on the sofa so he has the tv if he can't sleep. Poor thing, but me, being worried about him just scoffed anything I could get my hands on, hence the 3 lb gain.
I'm going to try the monthly pass I think. I have been told by numerous people that the meetings definitely helps keep them on track. But part of me is just so nervous about going along to them. But I should bite the bullet and go!!!
Today I have been so so so lazy. I got up at 12.20 today and then fell back asleep downstairs in my chair until 3.30pm. Lazy lazy sod! Oh well. Tomorrow going to cook for next week and do some much needed cleaning!

And it begins all over again!
My Weight Chart:

And here we are stuck in this ever circling loop. Be on weight watchers be off weight watchers, put on weight and go back on weight watchers. I've been following it now for the past 3 weeks and I just had my latest weigh in yesterday. I lost 1lb yesterday which is great seeing as I originally thought it was STS.
One problem though is today. I have had a bit of a blow out binge. I know exactly why. I'm feeling concerned and stressed. My work has gone down to three work days now as a way to try and save the company money. I am grateful because at least it is a job, but its not quite enough. And secondly, my OH is quite poorly just now. He has been diagnosed with a pilonoidal cyst which he has now had for a week. He was given antibiotics but it hasn't brought the swelling or soreness down. AND hes not listening to me when I say he should phone the doctor. So I am a bit concerned about him.
Back at work tomorrow, 9am til 5.30pm. Got tomato soup for lunch with some sandwich. A bit like old mother hubbard just now. The shopping is coming tomorrow night, thank god! Going to try and cook ahead on my days off to save on preparations.
I'm thinking of maybe getting the monthly pass for weight watchers. I don't know but the meetings might help to keep me on course more. I dunno what do you think?
And here we are stuck in this ever circling loop. Be on weight watchers be off weight watchers, put on weight and go back on weight watchers. I've been following it now for the past 3 weeks and I just had my latest weigh in yesterday. I lost 1lb yesterday which is great seeing as I originally thought it was STS.

And it all goes on....
Well my weight watchers saga continues. I put on 3lbs 2 weeks ago and I was a stay the same this week. Which is rubbish as I want to lose that three again so I'm back at the stone lost. This being said I'm downing a bottle of wine just now as I feel I'm stressed, Not for any real reason but for the reason of not having a job or finding one.
So I decided that I would try core this week to see how I do on that. I got told off on the message boards yesterday as I was hungry between brekkie and lunch and was told I shouldn't be if I am eating properly. In saying that the menu was pretty good:
Breakfast: 2 Ryvitas with tom sauce, 2 turkey rashers and egg
Snack: Carrot Juice
Lunch: Potato and Leek Soup with a sweetcorn salad
Dinner: Chicken Stir Fry
And today was:
Breakfast: Potato Hash with ham.
Lunch: Beans on Toast (4 points)
Dinner: Homemade crustless quiche with salad
Of course yes yes yes I am pointing the wine at 7.5points. Tomorrow is badminton night so one and half hours of running around like a headless chicken. Well less of the running around, my head says run, but my legs don't move! But either way its exercise of some sort.
I need to get my butt into gear and get the stuff I don't want on ebay to see if some other poor soul wants any of it at all. Need to weigh all of it first though so I don't get copped out this time like the last. I put stuff on but didn't charge enough postage. So I didn't make any profit at all. Stupid me!
Oh well let you know how it goes.

The Council Saga Continues!
If any of you have read my blog you will know what I am on about. If not heres the gist.
I live in a street which is a culdesac of 13 houses. We have a problem with the parking situation as in there isn't enough for everyone. The council sent us a letter through saying that there were concerns with parking over driveways and that they were putting in access protection markings, you know, those pointless little lines across the drives. Ok ok, guaranteed if you can't see the drive properly I think they are fine, but you can. There aren't any blind spots, or trees, etc. The problem is that in between all the drives there are little grassy knolls that you can't play on, they are too small, they do nothing, bar, if there isn't any space on the road, you park on them. It isn't the cars causing problems or the drives, it is the lack of parking.
So I sent out feedback forms to my neighbours seeing what they thought of the situation seeing as the council haven't offered any practical advice so far. The general consensus is that what the council is doing is a waste of time and money. People know where the driveways are as they are defined by a different tarmac between the grassy knolls. Everyone thinks, take out the grass put in parking bays, that will ease it up.
I was out there at midnight the other day, measuring up seeing what could be done, I worked out that you could easily put in about 14 parking spots.
Now here are the figures, 13 houses in the estate, 8 have driveways, 5 don't. Now even if each house just has one car, there are only 2 proper street parking bits in the street, so three people still don't have spaces. Now add in that not every house just has one car, there just aren't enough spaces just now.
So I phoned the council to get them to phone me back, and this, Scott Blyth just says no they can't do it as it is a local aminity.....it isn't, you can't use it, we have a forrest out the back and if you want a grassy area we have gardens or a large park up the road. Then was told that you can't park on the grass, park elsewhere. Our car has been broken into else where and who really wants to park their car away from their house or street. Security, what if you are disabled in some way. Also, you park in another street, it has a knock on effect, we take their parking then they get angry and so forth. I was then told that the houses and streets were built in the 50s and they weren't meant for cars. I don't care! This is the 00s now. We are supposed to be doing things for today. Ok, there weren't many cars then and if you had one you were fortunate, but now we have them. I was then told oh well you don't need cars, its our job to get people on transport etc. Well we do need the cars. The transport from Kelty is so expensive and so unregular and hardly goes anywhere, people need the cars to get to work, and more and more people are working further a field now. Now one of our neighbours has 3 cars. Thats not their fault. Children are staying on longer at home with parents because of living prices so they have a car and work further away, it isn't their fault.
Now looking around Kelty other houses of the same decade have parking. It looks like wedges have been taken out the greenery and bays have been put in. New houses are getting built all the time. They either have a drive way and if they don't they usually have parking bays. Is this too much to ask?!
So I was told that nothing could be done. So I'm going to go to my local councillor for the next course of action. If this Scott Blyth thinks that because he has said no that I'm going to stop then he has another thing coming. He has put a bee in my bonnet and it ain't going away!
Do you think I am being unreasonable at all? What do you think about the situation?
Sorry for going on and on, just needed to get it off my chest.
Eating is going ok. Changed lunch a bit as the sausages needed eating so instead of ham I had Sausage in the pittas.. Yum Yum. Had about 1 litre of squash so far, so Im on track for my water today. Had a look at the jobs today and I have to say there isn't much there today so I'll check again tomorrow.

Loz

Sorry sorry sorry for not updating this sooner, here is my new graph, I had lost a stone until this week where I put on 3lbs. I know exactly where I have gone wrong. I just had an extreme craving for Bourbon biscuits.....come on you know how good they taste. So X amount of them later, plus a great dinner for my Grandpa's 77th birthday, I can understand why it has gone on.
Hopefully I'll be back on track and busier this week. Jason has now started his new job as from today so I need to fill my days doing something, so today it is washing and tidying some of the rooms and maybe going for a walk......and of course still looking for a job! Geez I'm going to be busy.
Today is definitely going to be better. Breakfast was porridge with skimmed milk and some raisins, lunch is going to be some carrot and corriander soup and a ham pitta, and for dinner I think bacon and cheese quiche with a green salad. I know for a fact I need to up my intake of liquids. I definitely don't drink enough throughout the day and I think that is also why my skin is so bad just now. Its spotty as hell just now and its just not budging. I've just had a green tea and I want to have another 2 today along with my 2 litres of water/squash.
Just had a response back from someone in my street to. We all got a letter through from the council saying that there was concern with parking over driveways and they were going to put in access protection markings (those lil white lines). Now just to fill you in. I live in a cul de sac of 13 terraced houses and parking is rediculous!!! 5 of the houses don't have driveways and a lot of houses have more than one car. The drives aren't the problem, the cars aren't a problem, its the stupid bits of grass inbetween all the drives that are causing the problems.
So I wrote a letter to all the people in the street to ask for their feedback, and so far I have had 3 people which isn't a lot but its a start. We are all of the same thinking that the grass is stupid, the lines are a waste of time, and the grass should be taken out and parking spaces should be put in. I mean, I worked out there could be about 14 spaces which is more than enough. We currently have to park on one of the bits of grass as come 6pm there is no parking on the street. This said piece of grass is now more like a muddy swamp because of this.
Well, I phoned the council and got the persons PA or whatever as he was out on site somewhere. They basically said that we shouldn't have parked on the grass (where else are we supposed to park.....HOVER!!!!) stated that they should take out the grass as the lines are a waste and was then told that when these streets were built in the 50s they weren't meant for the cars today......I DONT CARE!!! We are talking about now! not then! Grrrr, sorry the council just annoys me so much at times with their lack of common sense.
Well that is my rant done now. Just fed the tortoise. Shes now 3 and still addicted to cucumber, like I am to chocolate. The rabbit is doing fine too. Luci (Lucifer) has now got the fur back that he lost on his neck. It is shorter than the rest but it looks so much better. And the hamster.....well Kara smells quite bad just now, but she isn't my territory, thats Jasons baby so he can deal with her.
Oh well, off to get my squash, I'll babble on more later.
